Refund Policy

1. Overview

At HPATPro, we are confident in the quality of our HPAT exam preparation platform. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for our paid plans.

2. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Irish consumer protection law, you have a right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by sending a clear written statement to info@hpatpro.ie before the 14-day period expires.

Important: If you have accessed, used, or downloaded any premium content (such as completing practice questions, starting a mock exam, or using the AI tutor) during the 14-day period, you acknowledge that the digital content has been supplied and you may forfeit the right to a full refund. In such cases, a partial refund may be offered at our discretion.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Within 14 days of purchase and you have not accessed any premium content — full refund
  • Technical issues that prevent you from accessing the platform, which we are unable to resolve within a reasonable time — full or partial refund
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors — full refund of the duplicate amount
  • Service not as described — if the services are materially different from what was advertised at the time of purchase

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will generally not be provided in the following situations:

  • Change of mind after accessing premium content
  • Deciding you no longer wish to sit the HPAT exam
  • Not achieving desired exam results — HPATPro does not guarantee specific outcomes
  • Failure to use the platform or its features
  • Accidental purchase where premium content has been accessed
  • Requests made after the 14-day cooling-off period (unless technical fault)
  • Promotional or discounted purchases redeemed via promo codes, unless the service is defective

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at info@hpatpro.ie with the following information:

  • Your full name and the email address associated with your HPATPro account
  • Date of purchase
  • Plan purchased (Pro or Pro + Tutor)
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Any relevant supporting information (e.g., screenshots of technical issues)

6. Refund Processing

We aim to review and respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.

7. Account Access After Refund

Upon processing a refund, your account will be downgraded to the Free Plan. You will retain access to free features but will lose access to premium content immediately upon refund approval.

8. Consumer Rights

This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer protection law. If you believe your consumer rights have not been met, you may contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) at www.ccpc.ie.
